Spot The Coin I Bought This Lot For

Metdet is right...its an issue from the usurper Vetranio - I cant be sure whos name its in until it arrives, I'm hoping its Vetranio (the rarer of the two with these field markings) as he's the only one I've not yet picked up (though I did recently get the rarest HOC SIGNO of Constantius Gallus, considerably rarer than Vetranio or Constantius II).

That coin looks like an odd Victorinus, but I'm not convinced. I'm almost sure the legend is -ORINVS. However, it is my second favourite of the lot - the Sol reverse comes out really nice, especially on the barbaric issues, oddly.

The HOC SIGNO VICTOR ERIS is almost certainly Constantius II, by the length of the legend, definitely issued by Vetranio and not later by the empire.

The middle fsar left coin is Victorinus and will be my type for him.

A whole pile of fully Identifiable coins...I wont go into it much, but they are much nicer than the picture suggests. Ill probably put the ones I'm not interested in keeping back on ebay. The mystery coin of the lot is a Gallic Empire coin which I dont recognise - the bust looks official but doesn't resemble Victorinus, not listed for Marius. I doubt its tetricus, but that will be my next port of call. Its not Pax. I'm referring to the coin 2 in from the left, bottom row, if anyone wants to give it a try.

Ill delve into the Victorinus RIC List later and try there.
