solidifier,
#4 should be announced by april fools and I'd hope to have them in-hand & ready to go within two-weeks from announcement. The Zombuff's have been very popular - sold more silver zombuffs in two weeks that I have of Morgue Anne's in four months (have had to make a second order).
By # of transactions, I'd say that the majority of purchasers are not 'coin collectors' but rather that they like zombies or think the rounds look neat. The 'coin folk' do tend to buy in larger volumes however.

Cool gorebug thanks for the info. yeah they are not coins but I like them no matter what. I'm a zombie movie fan and these are great. They may be a novelty but seems like the first one is worth more than I paid for it already so that works for me....nice to change it up a bit any how.

I find silver coins to be too white, therefore hard to distinguish what's on the coin as a design. I think silver lends itself more to generic scroll-type designs than something specific that the eye has to look for. Unless there's tarnish on the silver coin or good style (like a Victorian Gothic crown or Canadian dime 1930s) I find it to be bland.
Now as to copper coins /Zombie series: Are the copper rounds the same size and diameter of the silver coins? What I'm fine with is if the copper coins were "replicas" of the silver ones, but not to be sold as "bullion" ounces. That's a slap to my intelligence and therefore would never patronize such mints that produce them. Because these coins are being marketed and sold as investment bullion, why would they want to bother making copper coins unless as a cheaper homage or companion to the silver coin?
I personally think that the copper versions of the coins look better in terms of detail and strike. But the way they market them is stupid. Not knocking the series, I think it's creative, but don't tell people that copper is bullion and then sell it by the ounce.

While I appreciate their attempt to play off a classic design, I agree the new one falls short for me as well.

I agree - the least favorite of the series so far. For some reason the idea of the hair stylist scissors in the eye thing seems rather dumb to me - knowing that the barber half has nothing to do with that at all... it almost seems over teh top childish.

I get that they were playing on the barber half being a literal barber, but there had to be a better way. That seems a lot like they couldnt come up with anything else so just shoved it in its eye

See, for someone like me, this is good news.
I'll probably double my order size since the 'Zombie Fans' will enjoy this much more than the Morgue Anne - and they are the profitable side of the business for me. The fact that 'numismatists' don't like it will hopefully mean a lower mintage figure for this one and a shot at a nice shortage premium later on (if the manage to come out with a couple highlights later in the series). Hopefully I will have these in hand by the 19th.
Copper walkers are moving easily at $7 - $8 a piece now and I was able to move 4 silver walkers for $220 over the weekend.
So far the Morgue Annes have been the slowest mover of the series so far.

I haven't been disappointed with any of mine yet. I think they are a great way to bring new collectors into the fold. The new Barber rounds are on their way to me now so I'll see if the quality holds on those as well.

I actually enjoy the series and I've bought the silver and copper of each. The only ones that I'm missing is the first set the Walkers. Now I'm looking at Amazon and seeing them for $70. I'm stationed overseas so I can't walk into a brick and motar shop to take a look. Is anyone seeing these locally for cheaper?

Yeah, I saw them on Provident's website and said that I would buy a few on my next order. I didn't realize then that they were all limited time runs per coin. So on my next order they were disconinued. Now I'm going to have to buy them at one heck of a premium in order to have the full collection.
