Have this token, as NO Spending value. Looks like from 1953. Has a patina on it. Have no other history, just in Parents stuff after they passed away. Anything or nothing....? Thanks for any info

It's a pretty common commemorative "Royal visit" medal. These were done for previous years and monarchs as well. Value in this condition is a few dollars.

Five million of these were ordered by the Canadian government in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. They were produced by the RCM and one was given to every schoolchild in Canada. Many thousand were also struck in very high relief for distribution by the government to VIPs.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
