I'm curious. Purchased ASE proofs from the mint year after year, can be a bulking storage process. The coins come in those protective cases with the jewelry sorta box.

How do folks store these coins? Is there a container out there that allows you to store the coins (with protective case) in a separate tube?

Or perhaps, folks remove them from the protective casing and slab them.

Thanks for the community feedback/discussion.

This is my dilemma too. I really wish there could be an album that incorporates the plastic housing that they are issued with.

Some guys have used a case that has shelves that hold many coins, GR58 has this you may want to research his posts or ask him directly about his case.
Rest in Peace

I use this album for my proof eagles, allowing them to sttay in their original capsules. I will warn you, with the 40 coins now in the album (all proofs except the outrageously expensive '95 and all reverse proofs and burnished uncirculated ones)it is quite heavy!

Well found these. They also have a box version. (Please note I am not endorsing this vendor, I am google searching ideas only).

I use the tubes mentioned in the post above. The tubes come in different sizes and do a good job protecting the OGP capsules. The tubes and coins go in secured storage, while the OGP boxes are stored in a couple of file-storage boxes.

One other benefit for these tubes are an extra layer protection against tarnishing.

It's expensive, but I use the albums for graded slabs. I slab the bullion and burnished coins myself but send out the special sets and proofs for grading and slabs. I use PCGS and NGC. It's a great looking set but the album can get heavy even with only 27 coins per book.
