Bought this one today as EF but I think its closer to aUNC
which would double its value - any opinions would be welcome

It is higher than EF but I wouldn't go all the way and say AU as it shows weakness or wear in some area's. I would be happy to rate it as gEF which will still raise its value

Au Sheldon may be OK, but it is not quite Unc.
Where the rays on the star intersect the high point is a bit blunt.
The high points around eye areas of both animals are a little flat. Emu's feathers are quite sharp on an Unc. example.

Unc is a very tough very scarce grade for Blakemore reverses.

Nice pickup there stevo I agree with you it is closer to aUNC than EF in my opinion as the 7th and 8th pearl are separated and distinct, the star is well struck, emu well feathered and the kangaroo looks as it should and the shield itself is struck up decently (little shields on the corners with the line distinct.) Rims look all good and apart from a small nick on the top left of the obverse with a few crushed denticles opposite still very much within the grading and having seen significantly worse than that in terms of rim nicks. A safe bet of gEF tho aUNC is still very much possible for me.

I'd call this gEF/aUNC - I think the reverse is definitely aUNC, but there is a little too much wear/dullness on the King's beard/regalia to call the obverse aUNC.
