Both these coins were graded exactly the same by the same company. Do you agree? How would you grade them yourself?

The coins might just be the same. The toning makes it hard to differentiate. In pictures things can seem different. In hand they might just be the same.

I am guessing the first two coins graded at about MS63RB by NGC.
The third coin is Nowhere near being a Mint State coin, APCGS ?

I'd say the third coin is probably AU55

I would think that the top two are MS-63 since it looks like a NGC holder, although the coin on the right is a much better quality of coin with detail. The third looks like a PCGS holder so I would guess that they would grade it something silly like AU-53?

Where's the wear on the 52? I'm not seeing an obverse photo but the reverse looks like a 63BN. A coin only goes down to an AU grading if it has wear.

The top two coins look like a 63RB and 64BN respectively.

Wear, there looks like plenty. KG has almost disappeared, there is no line between neck and kangaroo's back, the roo's feet. I'd hate to see the other side. This this picture has shrunk, better looking at these points on the bigger picture

Wear is the erosion of metal due to friction. There's no wear on those points, the softness of the detail is in the strike.

That would only grade between a VF and a gVF any any reputable Australian coin shop. There's no way that the 1952 is remotely in the same category as the top two coins. Interesting to see the back of the coin though. I'm interested in what it was graded as I'm still guessing it's PCGS graded

Any dealer who calls that VF has no idea what they're doing, coins are not downgraded to circulation grades for soft strikes under Australian standards. If it gets called VF it's because the dealer doesn't know how to differentiate between a detail missing due to wear and detail missing due to a soft strike. While this does happen often with Geo VI pre-decimal, I wouldn't call any such dealer "reputable".
