Could someone please explain to me why there are 2 different packaging types for the same silver coin but the cardboard box with black type flip top lid has a cost of $90 but with the same seller and the same coin is in a lager oblong clear plastic container for $150.Please refer to the 3 images below.
The silver coin is from the Perth Mint.

The clear plastic container.

The clear plastic container is from NGC, which means the coin has been graded by a third party.
The other coin has the OGP, but is raw with no indication of its grade.

Thank you Fuzzy317

Awesome! Now I have learnt something full on!

Only the Kookaburra to get now in this set.

1oz coin are my collecting area now but that 1/2oz Dr Who set is a huge temptation.

Always Happy Coin Collecting.kg5

You are getting a bargain if you can buy the bottom coin for $90 - they are $105 new from Perth Mint.

The 2013 Kangaroo is sold out! At the minute on ebay it is for sale mostly at around $150 + mailing.

The 2012 Emu is the cheapest but can not be purchased from the Perth Mint. Thursday last week on ebay an Emu sold for $78 + $8.50 mailing.

The Kookaburra I can not find at the minute for under $200 + large mailing cost. Will have to wait for a cheaper one. I will wait.

Even The latest 2013 Platypus that is still available from the Perth Mint for $104 + $7.50 mailing + $1 visa card tax can be purchased on ebay for $100 mailed. If it is still there.

I am going to look for bargains on ebay as I spend a lot of time there anyway but I want to collect and not be a seller. I am a seller in another collectable and the collector is just about gone. Will be trying very hard to stay a coin collector.

Chasing coins that are Perth Mint sold out is not where I really want to go with coin collecting the up coming New Release "AUSTRALIA'S REMARKABLE REPTILES, 1st issue 2014 Frilled Neck Lizard 1oz Silver Proof Coin" sounds like just what I am looking for in the collecting area.

The Australian Post website also sells coins from both mints and as they don't charge postage, the price for new coins and PNCs can actually be better than ebay plus postage costs.
