The coin is PCGS slabbed as Genuine F Details. I had to go for it since the "E" clash was there and the reverse has a raised clash from wing to "S" in PLURIBUS. What do you think? I haven't broke it out of the slab yet. Is there any other die markers to use in the process? Thanks for any input. Noel

Wow. That one sure looks good. The top loop of the 8 is pretty indicative. Not calling it "definitive" but it's a nice sharp, straight cut even on a worn coin.

This is o tough coin. I still havn't sent mine in despite 8 of ten positives opinions here and showing to a couple dealer friends who said send it in. There are different dies for this as I just found a half hour ago most are missing the top step you can look at all high grades on heritage and see liberties left foot is floating no step. But I just found a pcgs slab sold at Goldberg auctions 5/29/2011 lot 771 slabbed and obviously an 18/17 s. And clear top step. Restored my faith. Because I have the clash e and the pimple by the bottom right star. You either send it or plan on looking at lots of pictures.

I got it back and it did not make the call. That raised corner above the 8 and the clashing sure looked promising. I'll just go look for another. nlp

Forgot, it came back F-15 details. cleaned

That is a beauty. Well done! I'm not sure about suggesting another TPG though? I was an NGC guy for years and they have all of a sudden started to get really weird about error coins. Obvious errors coming back unattributed even though I paid for it. I may be new here but let's just say that it's not my first day at the rodeo. Just use caution before sending it in where ever you do.
