I don't know why, but I just think it's the neatest thing!

But should it really be graded that low? My local dealer thought it should be higher since you can read the entire date.

I suppose one could resubmit for a higher grade. But we all know that PCGS is the toughest of the TPG's!

Should really attract the attention of the folks who are after the lowest grades.

I would have graded it FR02. The date is mostly readable and the coin is identifiable.

I agree, it's a Fair-2. Poor-1 is too harsh for a coin with that much of the features left.

If that old quarter could talk, it could entertain us for hours with tales of where it's been! ~Jim
