Word is it's not an insect. Might be a frog. Using the ladybug as an example, I'm guessing this first coin of the series will be very popular.

I think the candy cane coin was fine for the season. The only complaint for me was the size of glass and difficulty in making it in comparison to the price that was charged.

I'm a big fan of this series since I got the Butterfly one. I couldn't justify spending 250-300$ for the ladybug, but the moment I got the butterfly in-hand, I looked for a deal and ordered it. Ladybug is way too priced for me to get it, but still, it stays in my long-term wishlist.

The candy cane... not at all. I don't like Christmas-theme coins, as when I look at them in July it just seems weird! Anyway, everyone's different, but I know many think the same.

Rats, not an insect. I kind of had my heart set on a dogbane beetle bug coin; from the Canada 9 cent stamp.

This is the only time where Master Club membership comes in handy. The coin will sold out from the Mint before getting to the public.

It is great to add another Murano glass coin for my collection.

But I hope Mint won't raise the price again. It was $139.95 for the GLB and GBB, then $149.95 for the GB and the GCC.

What's the price for this year 2014? $159.95? Oh-No...

I don't think they will raise the price until the second coin of the series comes out.

I collect Murano Glass (vases, bowls, paper weights) here but I do not have a Coin yet.....LOL

Hope it has some *sparkle* in it like a lot of the older Murano art Glass.

Eg, see pic"

New-Glass-Murano-Coin-Coming

Also it would be nice if RCM would also do something to honor CHALET ART GLASS as they were Italian immigrants that came to Canada and started to make Chalet Glass. Perhaps CCF could put a *bug* into RCM ear and give them that suggestion too.

Chalet Glass is part of Canadian History....as is the Canadian Coin.

Here is a Piece of Chalet Glass that has Uranium in it to *glow*. I would like a coin that has some Green glass glowing on it !!

New-Glass-Murano-Coin-Coming

Hope okay to post these **samples** for Coin ideas.....
