It is definitely a type 2 ike. Is it a nick under the left of the florida state map?

Guys... I'm not well versed on Eisenhower dollars, so please excuse this question. I'm trying to learn something... It looks to me that there are Islands to the right side of Florida; I also see flattening of design from 8-11 O'clock. Isn't that a Type 1? On the Type 2, it seems more obvious that there wouldn't be islands. Again... I'm not trying to out-smart you guys. So... After reading this thread, I took a look at a "Blue Ike" under my microscope. It's still in the mint packaging, so the scratches and fingerprint on the photos comes from the cello wrapping. I know there's a difference in quantities and the '72S is much less interesting. Do you think this is a Type II?

I'd say it is a type 2. 9 rolls at the bank. WOW.
Any serious ERROR coins in there?
Other question, What percentage of the 180 coins, would you say were BU?

No serious errors, though I still plan to look a little closer for some clashed dies. And I'd say only about 10% were BU (and I'm a little lenient on those, haha), and most of those were bicentennials.

Bama, here is a page with all three... http://eisenhowerdollarguide.com/19...r-varieties/As you can see, the type 1 and 3 have very distinct islands, though in different positions. The type 2 really does not have any islands and is generally mushy and lacking the detail you in the other two types. Which is clearly what the OP has. The type 2 reverse was used for the silver Ikes, so I do believe ALL of them are type 2. It is the Philly clad coins that had all three types used on them.

Thanks Smoke... your info and that site helped a lot. It had much better representations than the site I was looking at.
