With what looks like displaced metal on the 7, it looks as though it took a hit ... PMD.

That metal is raised over the 7. I think it is a die chip but the close-up with the scope doesn't give it justice. I'll upload a scan of just that area tonight.

Here's a few different angles...

There is no scratching or damage anywhere near the "7" that would cause the metal to move. The height of the "7" is perfectly still flat over that area. I honestly believe that it is a die chip but I am at your mercy. I already listed for sale so hope that I don't have to pull out.

With the new photos it's clearly a case of PMD, sorry.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
