It seems to be in the same spot same strike on both sides except for the cylindrical indent under the date. Has anyone seen something similar to this? or could this have been made in a vice?

Is the "strike through" recessed on both sides, or is it raised on one side.

Looks like it was hit from the reverse pushing out the obverse side.Without better pictures I'd say PMD

Recessed in on both sides.

Sorry for the pic I bought a USB microscope and the driver that came with it wont load. Not too happy with it but will get a better one soon.
