Hi everyone. I'm sorry that I've been gone so long, but it has been unavoidable. I have a serious health issue that I need to address, and it has become apparent that it's going to be a little more than the "bump in the road" I was planning for. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery on 6/30. It looks like the surgery went well and they got it all, so no radiation treatments; but I am looking at chemotherapy treatments starting the end of this month/beginning of August. Rest assured that I have been reading almost everything that is posted, but am putting most of my energy into keeping my business going and recovering right now. I am trying to get back to posting regularly here as soon as possible. I just didn't want anyone here thinking that this forum is not important to me. It is more important to me now than it was when I first started it. I care very much for all of our members here and look forward to when I'll be posting here regularly again. Please know that I am still available by email even though I'm not as active here right now. Thanks for giving me so much interesting reading material, everyone! It's been a great way to keep my mind off of things.

I am very sorry to hear about this. We are losing my Grandmother, probally within the coming days, to a 5+ year fight to cancer. She is the strongest woman I know. I don't think I could have gone through ALL of those radiation and chemo treatments. My thoughts and prayers are surely with you and your family. Best wishes.

My prayers are with you My 94 year old mother had a brutal cobalt implant 30 years ago Even visitors were allowed only 30 minutes because of the cobalt radiation However brutal the method was she lived ever after in good health Like Lance Armstrong is showing the world for the seventh year in a row ; the beast can be tamed

No apology will ever be needed Susan! What you and Bobby have given us here is like a home and like it or not, regardless of your age, you are kind of like MOM! We intend to have you, your humor, your knowledge and your friendship for a very long time! Just keep looking for that next hill as you never know what you may find on the other side and we will be right there to have a look with you. Best of luck my friend and keep the chin up and if I here you don't...well...I will send all these darn Indiana spiders to N.J.!

Susan, Put your energy into your bodies recovery. That has to be at the top of the list. It's is by far more important than any business. My thoughts, hopes and wishes,(and love) are with you. It is excellent news that the surgery went well and they got it all. Modern medicine is a marvel. PS when all this is over, you'll deserve a holiday. I can recommend Australia as a "get away from it all" destination. You and Bobbie can come and stay with us for a few weeks here in Brisbane. How does that sound?

Hi Susan:
Thank you for sharing with us. I think continuing to contribute to this forum and doing some of routine things you always did before will be quite therapeutic and help you on the road to recovery.
By all means though, do not hesitate to turn away from this forum if you must to concentrate on getting your health back. Don't worry about us... we understand.

Toast, If Mom and DAD come to Australia they will be bringing all of US kids with them. You may have to put up a tent or something but none the less we will enjoy it just the same! I need to spend some time in your outback any way! A few days away from the world would be great!
