Mike, I use a USB microscope finding the right light is tricky I'm working on a setup like Coop has posted in his how to's for coin pictures I expect my coin images to greatly improve. But the usb microspoe is a great tool and takes decent pictures just takes sometime to catch a good image. I got it off Amazon for like 40 bucks works great with my windows laptop using windows 8
