I am trying to figure out if this dime would be categorized as a "strike error." Because the rim/edge is not present in the crescent shape smooth portion along the bottom of the obverse side, I thought it might be a broadstrike error. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for earlier welcomes, greetings, and assistance!

With all due respect, I'm seeing a Dime which has had its' edge ground down against something abrasive.

SsuperDdave has it...definitely PMD. Ground down to a flat surface in areas, looks like the Face was also subject to it.

Looks like a dime someone used as a surf board on a smooth concrete floor. PMD

I actually did that to a dime changing light bulbs on a locomotive..always turn the switch off!! Important safety tip!! But makes the edge perfect for loosening the screw on the bulb!!
Rest in Peace

One thing to keep in mind is a broadstrike error occurs when the collar malfunctions and does not form the edge of the coin. On a dime the collar forms the reeded edge so a dime broadstrike will not have the reeding on the edge. I am guessing the coin pictured above has reeding.
