I am not sure if this is a 1972-P 1DO-009 or not. It has the characteristic doubling above the "2" and the die gouge marker under the "R" in "TRUST". It also is a slight "MAD" with rim doubling from about 8-o'clock to 2-o'clock. However, it is also a Master Doubled Die #5 (I think) cent and I don't know if that is as it should be, as it is not mentioned in coppercoins description. Any help and opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It looks correct. The 2 cross bar has the raised area in the center where the doubling would be in line with. Also the top loop was the mark under the loop at the south tip. I sent a message to Bob to see if it is one of the master die doubling examples.

I'll let you know when he responds.

The third image of your coin gives me a headache. The pixilation drowns what you are showing. Try taking an image through a glass and see if you can get a better image of that area.
