Ive got my cleaning setup back up and running. Whilst in limbo the distilled water evaporated, but its back now. I took a good hour and sorted through the stuff in there - a very nice follis is coming out, will take a long time to clean. A possible carausius too, but its thick mud and the coin surface is very fragile, so I'm not sure if anything will result of it. Still many from that barbaric hoard - some CSLG mint coins still to come (have already got 4 out of the lot). An Augustus Altar coin coming slowly along too.

Anyway, heres a new coin, I bought it for £5 shipped along with a very low grade example of a Philip Ant I've been after (ROMA AETERNAE).

PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG
ROSDC
all with dots or arches in top layer, rarely in bottom layer
ASIS double crescent
Siscia RIC VII Siscia 215

IT doesn't really need work, but ill probably give it a few weeks in dionised water.

Heres the antoninianus. Ill probably clean it with an actual acid, it looks like low quality silver so ill leech out as much copper from the surface as possible.

The officina is B instead of A. You can compare it with the A of PROVIDENTIAE and see the differences
