Wow! This guy sucks at reproductions! His 1878 Morgan silver dollar is nowhere close to looking like the real deal:

What a joke! I hope no one has been able to turn a profit by buying these and then selling these as the real deal. Ugh...

Caveat emptor! I think someone else posted something similar a bit ago. Thanks for being vigilant!

Sad thing is that that antique finish will fool a great deal of people who are looking for "old" coins.

Aren't there deterrent laws that prohibit people from importing fakes? Where's the secret service in all this?

Where? Why it's them that are doing this. They do this to find out who is buying that stuff. Or maybe a way to subsidize their income. Might even be from a new branch of our Mint.

These companies are not US-based. AliExpress is a division of Alibaba, a well-known fakemaker's sales website based in mainland China. So they're free to make, sell and export fake US coins as much as they want, since they're not breaking Chinese law.

It is, of course, illegal (under American law) to import them into America unless they are stamped "COPY". And rest assured, these won't be unless the buyer specifically requests it. But the Secret Service isn't randomly opening everybody's overseas mail, just on the off chance that they might be importing fake coins. They can only act on definite tip-offs.

It really bugs me how many fakes there are. What really scares me is the fakes are everywhere and they get better every year.

Illegal to import into the US since they don't have COPY stamped on them. The Chinese fakers are ruining our hobby with this garbage.

Or not ......... gave them a fake Panda a while back. If it is an NCLT they couldn't care less. Never got action, never got my coin back.

I'm pretty sure the Secret Service only cares about counterfeit American legal tender coins. Pandas are Chinese. Protecting the integrity of the American financial system is in their charter; protecting the integrity of the Chinese coinage system is not. Fake foreign coins are basically "goods" under US law, so they fall under the jurisdiction of other branches of law enforcement. Try one of those helpful-sounding government websites like stopfakes.gov.
