Well, new for me at least! A regular customer at work offered me these for $25 total, I couldn't pass it up. US type album, Buffalo nickels, Barber halves, Walking halves and a couple assorted pages with an empty dime book. Picture taken very unprofessionally in the front seat of my car. =================================== New Pictures: Buffalo nickels #7112, certainly seen a bit of use. Barber halves #7150 and Walking Liberty halves #7160, both look almost brand new. Assorted items, Blank Nickel page, written on. Lincoln Memorial page 1, no slides. Empty Roosevelt dimes #7125. And last, US Type Set 7070, no gold page. Cover has a burn mark and some mold spots. Pages in nice shape, slides are a little dirty though, advice on how to properly clean those would be very appreciated! Edited by Dasaki 02/18/2014 12:16 am

Nice pick up!. You realize the Type Set (7070) sells alone for like $50?

50 for a 7070 would be cheap unless it was beat up. 25 for all of those is a steal

The 7070 is pretty old and battered, the pages are still nice though. Touch of mold on the cover, and no gold page.

Even in that shape the 7070 was worth at least what you paid for them all. The gold page for the 7070 is actually the one thing thats usually not that hard to find with the cost of completing that a lot of people pass on it

Nice pick up. Do you think Dansco will ever come out with the "redone" 7070?

Oddly enough, the 7070 was 'free'. He was asking $10 each for the halfs and $5 for the nickels, the 7070 and assorted stuff was a free bonus for buying all three.

Killer deal. I have been stalking ebay and other places looking for a 7070 for about 6 months now but refuse to pay more $50 for one. Needless to say I still don't own one.

Wow! Awesome deal! I've been looking on ebay for a 7070 for quite a while now. Like Merc Man said, I refuse to pay more than $50 for one though.

When I bought these, I knew the 7070 would be a hard one to fill, I really didn't realize how expensive it was by itself. The customer that sold them to me was an older gentleman, may well have purchased it brand new, and wasn't sure if I would want it in the shape it was in.
At the very least, I'm still young and have plenty of years ahead of me to work on filling it out!

Excellent deal! Quote: And last, US Type Set 7070, no gold page. Cover has a burn mark and some mold spots. Slap a bandage on that burn mark and call it a day. Quote: ...slides are a little dirty though, advice on how to properly clean those would be very appreciated! It really depends on what is on them. Personally, I would buy some clear acetate pages and cut them to fit.

They look... Well, almost like someone sneezed on the pages, to be honest. It's like spatter on the outsides of the slides.
