Newbie here.

TPG for Modern vs TPG for traditional.

Question is has TPG grading changed for the modern coins vs the old guard.

I see on ebay and on CCF some Traditional business strike coins graded MS65 with a considerable amount of hits.

Then when checking the registry of Kennedy half or Eisenhower relatively few coins make the MS65 grade.

Has things changed ... or .. is it my eye sight on pictures.

Thoughts?

Im not sure what you mean by changed, but grading is done to some extent relative to its own series. The Ike quality was just poor overall and even 65s can take some effort to find for the non silver ones. Above 65 and youre really in rare territory.

What Basebal said is right. Ikes were abused bad and they're rare now in high grades.

They might drop in a few years when people start seeing that they can get their mint cello's TPG and probably some high grades. (You must remove them from the mint cello)

Kennedy's are only made for collectors so I don't bother with them. They never will be circulated.
