I want to send my Contemporary Counterfeit 1971-S "Silver" IKE to a Third Party Grader for verification(want Forgery, or, Counterfeit on label, if possible)...I'm 99% sure PCGS, NGC, ANACS won't touch it..will SEGS, or, another reliable service help me, anyone know? Since from what I can tell, only 2 known, so, want the best for my rarity...it is way underweight, at about 17.50 grams, has a MEDAL Rotation, instead of normal coin rotation, and is a peg leg obverse(I think the crooks used a proof obverse die married with a low relief reverse die, which has the T-I island setup...very crude work...you can see all the mold blobs and melting in areas under magnification, and, the reeded rim is funky..surprised the USA Market has not been flooded with these...I mean it...with a crappy pic, these would fly as the scarce 71-S BU "Peg Leg", FS-401...I bought this from Europe last year THINKING it was such, much to my delight, when plopped on my digital scale, and viewed under loupe.

Id be surprised if PCGS or NGC touched it.
Theres an off chance ANACS might since they slab Norfed dollars.
I think your best bet though will be to call ICG and see if theyll do it. Theyve slabbed a lot of stuff in the past that the others wouldnt touch.

It is one thing to slab medals, Norfed dollars, Liberty dollars, tokens and such, but it is quite another thing to slab counterfeit money. Since it a counterfeit of a legal tender U.S. coins clearly violating the Hobby Protection Act by not having " copy " clearly stamped into it, I don't think any TPG would touch it, even SEGS.

I have to agree with denco & Foxwoods Man. I would be very disappointed in any TPG that was willing to slab this "coin". Even more disappointed people are counterfeiting Ikes. Keep us posted on what you find out though, interesting issue.
