Storing Silver Coins - Coin Community Forum

Jvandy Valued Member United States 99 Posts	Posted 02/18/2014 11:21 am I had a question on how to store silver coins. I have a tube of the zombuck coins as well as a slabbed coin. I currently just keep them in a wooden box, should I put that silica gel packs in there as well? Or is there something else I should do? Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 02/18/2014 1:22 pm I would worry about whatever was used to finish that wooden box, and what it might outgas over time as a result. Me, I'd put those coins (and that silica gel) into a ziplock food baggie with the air pushed out and zipped tightly. Then it goes into the box. Report this Post to the Staff
