Oh, my ... this is very terrible,,,I am just shaking right now....There will be a time in months from today to speak up..That time will be when the Perps Lawyer makes no mention of the victims, rather he will talk about how the perp. was abused as a child and how he is broke, a street bum, no job, no good clothing to wear, has to visit the ten places in town that give out free food, has to this that, poor him........And as I said there will not be word one about Don & wife........If this lousey specimen of a human is so down and out, how is it he has money for a good lawyer.........probably get two years and serve 1 and 3/4 of it......To finish off my sadness here lets hope the perps get caught....

Very sad. I remember visiting this store once in Calgary and being disappointed that they only sold expensive coins that I couldn't afford... this news hits fairly close to home once I remember actually going there. I hope he'll be at least mentioned at the upcoming Edmonton Coin Show (all the Calgary dealers drive up to visit), and that ownership of his store is passing into good hands. It's hard not to sound repetitive, but my condolences are also with their friends and family.

OK, but I personally think it's sickening to use the death of another human being to forward your political views. I remember someone wrapping up a little speech about why the death penalty is great right in the middle of their condolences in another thread - disgusting. Surely the loss of an upstanding fellow hobbyist is more important than our criminal justice system right now.

My apologies. Don was the GM for over 20 years there. Not the owner. Still extremely tragic.
