All I am trying to figure out is if its a counterfeit Half or a Counterfeit Trade dollar
it would be nice to know how old it is and what its made of as well.

I am not overly concerned whether its a "good" counterfeit or not.

Looks like a really cool contemporary counterfeit The counterfeiter made up this fantasy piece to just look like a Bust Half and put the British Trade dollar Designs around the edges. Looks like if you put a BH on top of a British Trade dollar You would see the Trade dollar outer design like on this piece, since the Trade dollar is bigger.. I like it...
I collect contemporary CBH counterfeits....
