For it to be a shanlong the bottom of long (eš†)should be formed like shan ĺ±±. Hartill 22.264-22.270 for Board of Works.
Not seeing that on this coin, all I see is just a run of the mill 22.251. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're right. People often get these confused, it really takes some serious attention to detail to figure these out.

Thanks! Once in a while I have to make sure I'm not going crazy and misattributing things.
I've been going through my Qing cash, attributing a pile and plucking out doubles. Just made the switch to Hartill not too long ago so I have to redo all my tags as well.
Was looking to fill a few holes and spotted this one up on everyone's favorite auction site.
His price is way off, too.
