Umm.. so I just bought this lot of ottoman's for what I thought was a fair price but seeing that they're not very high grade, I'm not sure anymore? Any opinions on what I should have paid or what I could possibly flip them for in 1-2 years?

You have set yourself a decently hard task to learn about them, that would lead to full attribution. If you are successful, they will be worth double what you paid for them, but with the knowledge thus gained, you will be very tempted to keep all of those that are not duplicates.

You and your collection will be enriched if the effort is expended in so doing. I have been through this process with late Roman bronzes- LRB's. It's a bit like LWC's (Lincoln Wheat Cents, a modern equivalent).

Looks like mostly Akches. If I were you, I'd invest in Slobodan Sreckovic's series on Akches, it's a little pricey but well worth it if you are looking to study these coins - best work on Akches out there, period. It's in Serbian, though, but easy enough to work with through the illustrations. Try abebooks or Scott Semans to find a set.
