heres something, I thought was pretty cool, 1899 one cent with an image of the queen on the reverse side, and on the obverse,same thing, but backwards! Any comments,would be welcome, THANKS.
Looks like it might be a great die clash error, if so awesome find!! I love all mint error coins, a die clash is where the dies used in minting a coin come together without a coin in the middle, and leave an imprint on each other. I have a similar thing on a George VI Rupee :D
Thats what I thought also, shark38Ksw. The details are too sharp and overlap in such a way, that contradicts a hammer job,I must submit that , this coin WAS squeezed but, some detail does not line up that way. if it was a squeeze job, Both sides show impressions of the obverse,but one is backwards,how can one side be backwards from the other squeeze,they would look the same, being squeezed off an obverse?
