you must be in southern Ontario. I saw his ad on Kijiji, and yes he is asking way to much for these common coins. If they were mint state maybe, but they are not..

Thanks for the replies. My add looking for coins is posted in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I'll ask him where he's from. Can anyone tell me what grade you would give these coins, even if it's a ball park figure? Thanks.

These I would offer no more than $210-$220 CAN and that is being generous. As far as grade, I would say they range from F to VF judging from the pics. Maybe a couple of XF or AU's in there also, but they appear to be all common dates.

Not a single BU there. I see one, perhaps 2 AU. VF-XF for the rest of them. Full retail value is 30.00 I would not go more than 23 or so each.

Thanks for the help. I don't like to buy items from a private seller unless they're local. Nothing is stopping them from taking my money order and disappearing. I don't think I'd pay more than $200 for the lot. Unfortunately, a lot of people are overvaluing their coins on kijiji. One person wanted to sell me the Winnipeg 100 year coin from Canada for $100 because they thought it was a $100 coin instead of a $1 coin.

it's too high. You can easily find better deals on ebay from dealers that ships to Canada if you haven't got the option locally.

I'm with Tim on the grade so $40 each is pretty high. Do you have a lot of trouble finding sellers that ship to Canada? I know I won't, too expensive and hard to figure out what to charge but then I don't sell coins, I collect them. I sell books to somewhat off-set the money I spend on coins.

$35 is more than a little steep. I would not go more that $20 per coin
