I sent off my very first submission to ANACS today. I sent in 5 Bisons to get graded and named. These are discovery pieces and I'm looking forward to see my discovery on the label. Very cool Indeed!!!

All five are the same "discovery" piece. I do have other "discoveries" but I don't think they are nice enough to receive a name.
This one certainly is.

Thank you guys.... I'm expecting MS 64 - 65's and hopefully a 66. I am not a grader so these are just guesses. I did go through over a hundred examples and pulled the best 5. Hard to find nice coins. IMO this may be one of the rarer ones because of the frequency it comes up as compared to other errors.
Yes I think this is the once-in-a-lifetime find.

Really happy for you errorcoins. I had contacts with the lady who found the speared bison. She is one great lady but she found out along with the fame came some bitterness from those who are not as fortunate! I told her, as I would you, hold your head up high as it is really great to be #1 at least once in your life. Good luck!

Congratulations, Errorcoins. I can't wait to see the pics when you get them back. Were any of these discovered by your daughter? If so, that should give her a real thrill!

I exchanged coins with Pam, a speared for a two-horned, very cool. I'll post the slabs when I get them back. I had to look thru soo many coins, that my daughter didn't find any of these. She was looking thru a roll however and found her own new Variety, the "SS" error, her name starts with an "S" There are two errors Cuds on two of the S's, Two errors on one coin, cool. She was VERY Proud of her find. I told her to find another for my set, which she promptly did. Another coin THAT should be slab and named "WOUNDED BISON" is the "P" Speared Bison. It is an awesome variety! I didn't discover it so I guess I can't change the name to Wounded, but that is what it should be named. It doesn't get any respect because one seller on ebay has flooded the market with a low buy it now price. I have many of these that I have found in rolls that I will just hold onto. I think the price should be and will be much higher on the wounded in the future, (very nice eye appeal), just a thought.

Checked ebay this afternoon to see what the two-horned buffalo was selling for and it appears they are on the way UP! Not many cheap ones to be had now so again I congratulate you on being #1! Hope you make some good money to finance all those error coins you always wanted!

LOL ......actually I got even more fame this month.
Go buy or check out August Outdoor Photographer... on sale now, not August.
There are 4 pages on my photography plus they published 4 images of mine on the cover, very cool.
Unfortunitely fame and FORTUNE do not go hand in hand.
