So, I've received today 3 $20x$20 coins from the RCM.

So based on what you were supposed to receive, which is wrong? The coins or the card?

@arianzo:

Is it full "Bobcat" card or on other side "The goose" printed?

Cause if it just other card, it is interesting mistake, but not "an error".

Interesting. The coin on the far right has the goose reversed.

If only that were true. arianzo would have the 'golden' goose of silver coins.

I'm honestly trying to figure out how they could have made that mistake. I've never taken the tour at any of the mint's locations so I can only picture one worker in this dark messy basement with coins all over the place packaging everything. It would explain a lot for me. ( cost management )

It's not a big deal but I mean it is kind of a joke. I'm guessing he won't be alone.

In my imagination, all this huge quantity NCLT (base, silver, gold) coins just can not be minted in single old facility in Ottawa. I assume, that it serves as the touristic place, mass media center, and very limited production. And all real process...no, not there.

Why would it be an error ? , they made some mistake that sent you 3 coins on one card . Maybe the machine had a glitch in its program but I do not see an error , I see a nice gift .

You got it ! I guess that without your post many guys wouldn't found the error.

It's funny because I asked my representative to cancel my future orders of this series and he replied that the Bobcat coins (3) have already been shipped and that the next coins of the series are canceled.

And what do I receive? 3 very nice Bobcat cards with 3 Goose coins.... so I guess that now I've a very good reason to return them.

I figured out the same stuff. And I think it's the first time that there are two $20x$20 coins available at the same time. Usually the previous one was already sold out so I guess they have one big opened box for Gooses and other box for Bobcat and they take and pack them, the same with the cards.

It's an administrative problem and it's the problem #50 in 2 months. At this point, it's just hilarious for me.
