Snooba, I don't think I could afford to buy too many. Just one more will be enough for me (1938).

Bigfella, if you come across any cheap ones, let me know. I don't have $900 to buy the one on your site. LOL.

G'day Triggersmob, and congratulations: you're halfway to a full set.
Before you give up on crowns, may I suggest that you consider a 19th Century St George crown: big brother of the gold sovereign, for half the price, and less than a 1938.
A stirling silver coin of that size has an appeal unmatched by anything else, other than gold, of course.
Even as a collector who focusses on Australian coins, the early crowns were legal tender in Oz.
By the way, your crown is a very pleasing example.
My Mum (b.1921) told me that they circulated, but were very unpopular from the outset. But I'm still surprised that the majority of those on the market are in the better grades, with very few showing signs of significant circulation.

Steve,

Here is a link to a 1938 Crown that I have been watching for several days. I keep hoping that I'll magically find $250.00 so that I can buy-it-now. But since that's not going to happen, I'll share the link with you!

Thanks, Snooba.

Nice coin. Funds are a bit light on at the moment. I'll leave it for you.
