The-Oldest-One-Yet!
Phokaia, Ionia, AR tetartemorion, (0.2g, 6mm) c. 530-510 BC,

Obv: Head of griffin right.
Rev: Incuse punch.
Klein 450

This tiny thing is now the oldest coin in my collection, smashing the previous date of 450 B.C. by 80 years! I think I have understood correctly that the coin as we know it was invented around 600 B.C., so that makes this coin one of the very first types ever made.
