I don't know the specific coin, but unless it is ultra rare, I would say that it is only worth the amount of silver due to the condition.

I am not sure if it is a UK coin?

It isn't a UK coin but from a British territory (at the time) in South America.

I moved it to World Coins for you.

Even though it has a mintage of only 90,000 it is not listed as particularly valuable. In this condition, I'd give it a book value of around $5.

I have recently sold the same coin in similar condition... I got $25 for it

The coins from British Guyana even with such low mintages tend to do poorly as auctions on ebay because there are so few collectors, however, there are also so few out there that there will many times be only one listed at any given times on ebay as a buy it now

I had a nice run of those 4 Pences from a collection I purchased, and most of them, the ones I listed were the only ones on ebay at the time and all sold well above the Krause prices as buy it nows
