Given the history of these, some easy tests
Powerful magnet test Does it stick? Does it slide off very slow? or fast?
What is its weight?

Based on details alone it looks fine, but I am concerned with the surface. It looks too clean and too dull grayish, though that could just be the photos.

I'll do a weight test/magnet test. The surfaces look altered (was my concern as well). I believe it was probably dipped at some point in its life - I'll take some clearer photos once I remove it from the 2x2.

From looking at the pictures, it does look real BUT I am always concerned with anything that comes out of china. Coin has rim nicks and a couple of scratches that I can see and it does look like it has been dipped. Lettering and detail look sharp, how did the weight and magnet test go?

The results are in:
Weight: 26.57g Magnet test: Moved somewhat slowly over the surface - it doesn't stick to it (rare-earth magnet)

It sounds good.
And, given the pricetag at bottom left, I'm assuming you bought it from a dealer, rather than a little old lady at the flea market. That's two plusses so far.
A nice closeup of the edge might be of use as well.

I think it is ok but it's definitely cleaned at one stage.

I wouldn't be so sure, notice these two areas: The first circle, that little blob should be nearly touching the cross bar, which is too short on your coin. The second circle, that A looking thing is written all wrong. I haven't seen either of these anomalies on a single genuine example. Also, something about the sharpness and quality of the wreath and ribbons looks off.

Looks like a pretty good match, yes. Oddly enough I think my photo got deleted, not by me though.

Yeah I agree, looks like a re-strike #27 after looking at that link. In many ways its more interesting than the regular 1914 dollar!
