Maybe a silly question but has anyone actually calculated the value of their currency collection at face value!
My wife said you paid $4 for a dollar! I said no actually I paid $3 because its worth a dollar anyways! Small justification, but it helps ease the pain with the
"SWMBO"

My wife can keep me grounded....so I don't go to crazey......Near the begining of my collection I did calculate a face value (After 3 Months of collecting as a Paper collector), some I had years earlier......Now that for a almost a year I hav been paying as yu say 3.oo for 1.oo....I don't think I will FV..anymore

Four dollars for a dollar almost lyrical

I have 120 notes and they are from all over the place, only 5 dollars face from Canada:

3 singles from 1973 and a 2 dollar from 1974.

I have from all over the world too.........more from canda, usa is second, some places only one note.....Is there a cheap place to buy world notes? Here in canada we do not value world-too highly.......

I found one place in California called collectors internet $495USD for 1000 world banknotes, I got a bulk load of world coins from them last year and was not overly disappointed but they were not something to retire on.

Most of my notes are from the 80's and before I think my dad got a bulk load once or just from his travels in the air force.
