I took this coins as part of a house clearance, it weighs around 17G, is 38mm in diameter and about 2 mm thick. Looking for a value, thank you.

If it really weighs 17g, its probably a counterfiet. Its off by about 10gs.

That date looks a little off too.

I think it's a fake.

Agree with the others, it is fake. The CC on the reverse is wrong too.

That reverse was only used in 1921; it didn't exist in 1882.

The mint mark is way off...it's counterfeit.

I am by no means a Morgan expert and my first impression was that it was a fake, even before I read the comments of the experts.

Did you mean that was sort of in payment? Or you found it during the clearance? If as sort of a payment, not to good. If just found and it didn't cost you anything, you just have a fake coin for free. Not much help though.
