I thought it was weird to put a serial number on a plain old copy so I thought it was worth the chance. Also feels the same weight as a one ounce round. I haven't weighed it yet though. My buffalo is from Golden State Mint. Not sure who made the rest. I did however find this. http://www.icollector.com/2001-SILV...OPY_i9950292 There are also spots on the rim that look like toning. You can see part of it to the right of liberty.
