100 Sen = 1 Yen

It's a 'Dime'

Edit: Yeah sorry, I forgot to mention inflation, I do have some 100 Yen coins from 1959 and 1960 they are silver and about the size of U.S. Quarters.

Nowadays, though, the sen is totally obsolete and the Yen has retained its value of approximately 1 cent. The yen went from being a silver-dollar-sized coin to a penny-type coin fairly quickly between the two world wars, but the rest of the time it has had a pretty low inflation rate.
