So here are numbers including the coins made available today.
So far in 2014, there have been 48 coins and sets issued. To buy one of each, you'd need $90,182.75. To buy them all, bring $68,785,128.10.
For the first three months last year, the numbers were 46 coins and sets issued. One of each would be $80,371.13 and all of them would cost $53,482,717.94.
Oddly, with the exception of a second 20/20 in Q12014, the total number of coins to be minted is essentially the same.

My 2014 spend so far is about 0.5% of the $90K total you listed. I guess I have some catching up to do!

But let's show "extended" picture:
The greatest portion of this 90K is single Snowy Owl 1kg gold coin, that priced 69.000

And The biggest part of the 2013 number is the 1 Kilo Fine Gold Coin - Canada's Arctic Landscape at the same $69K. So what? The fact is the number of coins has stayed essentially constant but the total potential revenue from those coin is up very significantly. Factor out those 1kg and it's even more dramatic because the 2013 offering had a total mintage of 20 whereas 2014 was only 10. Commems, I've spent even less that you ...and a small fraction of what I spent in Q1 2013. I could be wrong but I think that is a trend for many collectors (and flippers alike)and we'll see negative year over year growth of Mint revenues. A slew of new coins came out in gerenal release today and there is a mere smattering of talk on this forum about the coins. That speaks volumes to me.

Hopefully the RCM will finally get the message, too many useless themed coins and over priced.

Well, keep in mind the majority of the people who regularly comment on this forum are MC members, and so they have been looking at them for a week, now. And even the hoi polloi like me have been able to see the copied Mint photos on ebay. So the release today was kinda pre-empted, as a result. There have been quite a lot of posts about this release already.

Who'll be the first to $0! @CC-Ottawa: I agree with your comments about the current trends in Canadian NCLT pieces and the level of CCF chatter about them. As in the past, I plan to keep my focus on silver coins that commemorate Canada's history. I "widened my net" a bit last year to acquire the Bald Eagle series, but I don't plan to pursue any such series in 2014.

On my side, I will lost my MC status in a couple of month, and the principal reason is the fact that de coin are too pricey... It's not a question of I cannot afford it, but since they put monthly release it's too much coins and I lose my appetite and my interest... Also, too much series and too much crappy coins that don't really deserve to be coins...

I'm unsure as to amount of money so far. I can't say my habits have changed, I still buy coins but I do have to admit the money I've spent so far has mostly gone to older coins I've wanted but could't justify. I wait until I feel the price is a little more within reason.
2014 hasn't all been bad. I know some people didn't like the 50cent beaver but I thought it was nice. A little pricey but regardless nice. Still waiting for my second great lakes coin ( lets hope with no defects )The specimen loonie was well done as always. There isn't anything hot but there are still some nice ones. The 2014 silver proof set looks nice but I'm going to see if I can get it for a lower amount down the road.

Yes, will be interesting to see. Specially, taking in account this fact, that The Coin Shoppe has it for issue price ($2,299.95) very high price, in order to try making money on it on ebay....

My guess would be $1800 US. Factor in the seller is from Italy and some people might be skeptical to purchase from overseas. I'll give the seller credit, has a lot of positive feedback.

I think including low-mintage specialty items like the 5 ounce silver and kilo gold releases skews these numbers in a significant way, and does a disservice to your message, which I, and I daresay many other members agree with.
