Feel free to compile your own incomplete data if you wish but once one starts excluding data to support their message, that message generally become irrelevant.

Well, that snowy eagle kilo coin went for 2070 shipping, USD. Not bad....

amazing how much lower than even the lowest dealer price its going for at market prices...

Now thats how I would buy a kilo coin... proof finish, like this, and at auction

I saw 4 items on the RCM's New Releases page that are "awaiting stock" and the "ADD TO CART" button is disabled. There appears to be some demand, unless this is just a clever tactic to give an impression.

I certainly did not contribute to that demand.

In Canadian dollars that coin sold for $2268 which is only $32 lower than list price. If you factor in the US$50 shipping fee, the coin is more expensive than from dealers who are selling it for list or below. For example, Gatewest Coins is selling it for $2300 - $115 VIP = $2185.

I would argue that those items skew the data and act as a counterpoint to your own message. An average that is not a true average is of little use.

(Snowy Owl) 500 x $2299 = $1,149,500
(Lake Superior) 10000 x $114.95 = $1,149,500

I guess my point is and was.... doing the auction method from a known dealer on ebay is better than buying at retail.
