Because I think I see some slight wear on the hair above the date. The edges seem a bit chewed up, but I think that might not really have that much of an effect on the value since they're minimal. Overall, a nice coin.

I'm going to have to agree with Grace on this one. I see quite a bit of wear above the ear. The eagles breast looks like some good wear too. Pretty much all of the high points. I guess it could get up to EF, but I'm not sure. Wait for the Morganites, they'll know for sure.

I agree with the VF30 grade. However, I believe this coin would holder as an EF40-45 due to the CC mint mark. Once again, the difference between technical grading and market grading...
