The scratch on the obverse is a little bit of cloth used to clean this coin up a bit, and on her majesties cheek appears to be a bruise-we had a falling out-I presume to be dirt. Weight: 31.28/29 grams Came in a coin capsule and a Westminster pouch, the reason I ask is I've seen conflicting reports on differing sites regarding the coin. And I know someone on here will know the answer. I got the coin given to me, so no tears will be shed over spilt milk.

21st century NCLT coins aren't my specialty, and these coins are so new they aren't listed in the Krause catalogues yet, so I don't have any information about what kinds of coins were issued and what each kind looks like.
Does the "Westminster pouch" not have any information about composition etc?

No the pouch doesn't unfortunately. When I search for it on google, some say silver and others say Cu-Ni or nothing. I once found this coin on an online coin shop and they had it listed as Silver proof. The illusive Concorde coin. Thanks for looking, I appreciate it.

Pouch doesn't sound like a proof.
They might be only interested in making money but I'd have thought Westminster would provide a hinged case and certificate of authenticity for a proof, no?

I think you're right. It's just all the sales of the coin say differing things, and one guy has a £10 version which is exactly the same bar the denomination and his has a nice hinged case like you mention. Either way I'm happy, it was given to me and it's a nice coin. Thank-you for the reply.

Now I've found this:- http://www.flickr.com/photos/lawren...photostream/This coin is so misleading lol, fyi the gentle cleaning I did was with a new cloth and only to get rid of fingerprints on the coin, it looked messy-no cleaning agents used. So please don't think I have damaged the coin. The fingerprints were from it being taken out of the capsule by the person who gave it me, and made the coin look filthy when scanned. I don't do this any coins other than this one.
