I'm still searching for one. Only been through about 5 or 6 boxes since I started hunting, but I want to find one badly.

That's insane. I've been plowing through coins lately. I'm averaging a box a week right now which is quite a bit for me. I'm gonna have to slow down though because I have a half gallon ziploc bag full of 82, 92, 98, 99, 00 and 09 cents I've set aside that I need to look over for errors. It will probably take at least a week to get through those.

I think I was spoiled in the beginning though because I found a 1922 D and an IHC in my first few rolls of coins. Haven't found anything even remotely as cool as either one of those since.

getting spoiled at the start is a great way to get hooked. I found 156 wheats in my first box. I do almost 6 a week now and I carry them a mile home and a mile to dump!

That's an awful lot of coins to search. I can't imagine what your fingertips must look like. I seem to be having enough problems getting my hands on 1 box a week. I don't know how I would go about getting 6. I would love to get more, but I don't really have a good relationship established with any tellers just yet. Also, that's a pretty impressive feat carrying 6 boxes a mile both ways. Surely not all at once, right? You would need a cart and mule!
Rest in Peace

Sending this problem to the boss.

Check the magnet on any coin machine you dump coins in.

I found 57 steels on my birthday on the interior magnet of a coin machine and more on the outside magnet.

The post of it and pics should be in the Lincoln Cent roll hunting forum...

Early on in my roll searching career I got a complete roll of steel pennies, a customer wrapped roll! That is when I realized you can hut the jackpot any time or any place while roll searching. There really is no magic formula, just keep on looking.
