Hey guys,

I am currently thinking about collecting paper money (just $1s and $2s) The thing is I now a ton about coins, but I don't know squat about paper money. How do people collect these bills?

Also is there a free price guide somewhere I can use?

Thanks

There are no shortage of ways to collect paper money. Large size type notes, small size type notes, national bank notes, obsolete notes and fancy serials, and error notes are just a few of the things you can collect, not to mention the bevy of world currency that's out there. If you want to contact me via PM I can probably shoot you an old greensheet which will be your best bet for accurate pricing on most small and large size types. As for free stuff, your best bet is looking through heritage auctions past auctions to get a good idea on specific notes.

Looks like your PM is off.

I was thinking about getting a normal note and a star note from every series/ signature combo. How expensive would this be?

It also depends if you want to collect large or small-size bills. Some of the large-sized bills can get quite pricey and can be hard to find with stars.
