Got this silver "1" token in a lot of misc junk coins.

It has the same design on both sides. It is about the size of a US dime only thinner with no reeded edge. I am fairly sure it is made of silver. The oxidation on this coin reminds me of silver coins that were dug up from the ground.

Most likely a token of some sort, check if it is heavier than it looks, that's a nice indication of silver, depending where you got it from might be a clue, from the image it kinda looks like its silver plated with a steel inside, but if the coin was old then that's probably not the case. Hope I was some help.

P.S. search the web, anything that looks similar, check the date, and where it was from. Most countries made all their coins similar (Britannia) (Eagle) etc.

It's not a coin, but a token. Tokens like this are "generic", made for sale to whoever wants to buy some tokens. With no maker's name or even a language to identify, it's impossible to tell where and when such a piece might have come from.

Such tokens are never made of silver, so I doubt yours would be.

It will be very difficult to identify, and in all likelihood, this type of token could have been used by many different businesses. If you need to put a label on it, you can put "maverick token" on the 2x2. Unidentifiable tokens are called mavericks, a term for an unbranded range animal.

More than likely your token is made of aluminum. Silver wouldn't be used because,as we all know, silver is costly. So they would make them out of aluminum.

Also, your coin shows the type of corrosion that my Alabama State Tax Token, which is aluminum, showed when I found it.
