I have 4 rolls of them mixed years that I have found with years of searching. It has now been 8 months since I lat found one. How about everyone else? are they about out of circulation and getting scarcer?

No. Still out there. I have found about 4 the last 2 or 3 weeks. I have found numbers about the same as you. I once went about 15 months between finding the 1999s, but have picked up from then on.
Still Lookin

I haven't been roll hunting Lincolns that long, but so far I have found a 1998 WAM and around 5 2000's. Haven't found a 1999 yet, but I'll keep on searching. WAMs are getting scarcer by the day, especially with all the people from CCF finding them!

Any guesses regarding how many 98s, 99s, a 00s you folks had to flip to find one? I found my 00 in around 500 mixed 98/99/00s. I've flipped another 400+ without finding another. But the search continues...

I usually get mixed rolls and the solid date rolls of late were 2012 and 2013s. When they're solid, I generally only open a roll or two to see what's in the mix. But with the mixed rolls, I pull out the WAM dates and the 1992s (along with key error dates). WAMs and CAMs will work for me!! Just darned hard to find. I was surprised that it appeared that at one time, 1998 WAMs were readily available. No luck on my end yet, but I remain hopeful. The 2000 I found came from a canister of pennies I had been hoarding for many years - it may explain why I found it there and not in the recent roll hunts. Darned elusive, but a love the challenge of finding a diamond in the rough. Having been out of the hobby for over 3 decades (serious collecting anyway), I'm pleased these varieties have been identified and adds interest to modern coin collecting. Happy hunting!!
