I recently saw a promotional video for a well known TPG co. where the workers ALL handled coins they were grading with their bare hands.
I was always under the impression that oils, fine abrasive particles, etc could always be detrimental to the coin.
When I emailed the company they said that they are extremely careful when handling coins and that by wearing gloves it would be more difficult to handle, and dropping coins would be more likely.
Does this make sense or am I paranoid about what they are saying?
Any comments are appreciated

It makes sense to me. When you slip on the cotton gloves you lose a great deal of tactile sensation and grip.

The graders are human, so I bet they do drop/damage coins by accident. What happens then? If it's not too bad to notice, do they just bump it up a grade?

Yes, the TPG graders use bare fingers to handle coins, but only by the edges. They know what they're doing. You can bet they wash their hands many times a day although the grading rooms are climate controlled to minimize sweat. Also, the surfaces under the coins are padded in the instance of a dropped coin.

Again, they know what they are doing. Most of us collectors should wear gloves and not attempt to emulate professional graders. A misplaced fingerprint can deface and devalue a coin. While valid arguments can be made about which type gloves to wear, light cotton or latex/surgical/plastic, my own druthers are for the latter since they afford more sensitive feel than cotton.

The other question I had was that they say the coin is viewed by three professional graders and that when two agree on a grade then that's what the coin is graded at. I then asked what if none of the three graders agree on a grade and I was told it then goes to a senior grader. My concern would be how good is a junior grader compared to a senior grader? Would a senior grader give a more realistic evaluation of the coin?
Rest in Peace

In the unlikely event that four professional graders at one of the top four TPGs can't agree on the grade of a coin (i.e., three different grades for the same coin at a top TPG is highly unlikely unless it was a unique [very rare] coin not seen before and for which they have no benchmark coins), I suspect they'd sit down and have a meeting to discuss it to reach a consensus. I also suspect given these days of conservative grading that the lower grade would be selected.
