Help With Approx 1904 Barber Dime Grade

OcalaFlorida Pillar of the Community United States 2824 Posts	Posted 03/09/2014 01:23 am Hi everyone, Still very new to grading in general and very little experience with Barber dimes. It had MS60 written on the flip but I never trust that... Whats your opinion? I think it is at least a XF40 beyond that I am not sure. I just want to see if I graded this thing in my mind semi accurately to see if I made a good or bad purchase at $17. Report this Post to the Staff

OcalaFlorida Pillar of the Community United States 2824 Posts	Posted 03/09/2014 2:37 pm I was thinking it was a xf-40ish coin and it looked cleaned I paid $17 not a trouble free nice one but better then the ones I got so far. It was more of a test purchase for me to see if I could grade and make judgements I do want to buy the better one until I get more educated .. this site has in two months time gave me a ton of knowledge. Personally, I feel you overpaid at $17. I would be a buyer in the $2-3 range myself. Report this Post to the Staff
