I am playing with a few more today, thought I would share. Coins like this are harder to acquire than mirror brockages themselves. Love this one.

It looks like a dime was struck on top of the nickel. PMD?

Cool to look at, but it's something done with a vise or heavy pressure isn't it?

An unstruck fragment or planchet was originally adhered to the reverse die when it picked up the obverse design when struck into the obverse die. While still adhered to the reverse die, it struck your coin, transferring the image from the fragment into your planchet. Hence your coin was struck by a struck fragment or off center nickel.

This is an aligned partial brockage most likely generated by a partial (off-center) hammer die cap.
